The Commission decided to open an infringement procedure against France regarding its requirement for the display of the Triman logo and the waste sorting instructions on products.

Cosmetic substances in PFAS restriction proposal
On 7 February 2023, the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) published the details of the proposed restriction of around 10 000 per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs).
