On 6 April 2023, France submitted an intention to the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) for the Harmonised Classification and Labeling (CLH) of Cannabidiol (Cas no 13956-29-1) as a reprotoxic substance. If the classification process is completed, the use of Cannabidiol in cosmetic products may be threatened.
