On 8 July 2022, Regulation (EU) 2022/1181 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union amending the preamble of Annex V to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 with regard to the threshold for the labelling of the warning “releases formaldehyde” in cosmetic products.
