The European Commission notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of the “Omnibus VII” regulation on June 24. The adoption is expected to take place during the 3rd quarter of 2025.

On 27 May 2024, the Council adopted the final text for the regulation ecodesign for sustainable products, which sets requirements for sustainable products. Earlier this spring the European Parliament approved the text.
