Silver: Request for SCCS opinion
The Commission requests the SCCS to carry out a safety assessment on micronsized particulate Silver (CAS/EC No. 7440-22-4/231-131-3) used in cosmetic products. The Committee has six months to deliver its Opinion.

Nitrous Oxide, Silver: CLH proposals
Two cosmetic ingredients are affected by the proposals for consultation on harmonised classification and labelling (CLH). The CLH consultation on Nitrous Oxide has just launched, while Silver has been under opinion development by the Risk Assessment Committee (RAC) on the proposed CLH.
