Draft EU Regulation notified to the WTO for the use of certain nanomaterials
On 23 May 2023, the European Commission notified the WTO of a draft amendment to the Cosmetic Regulation. The publication is amending Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and the Council as regards the use of certain nanomaterials.

On 24 April 2023, the SCCS published the preliminary opinion on Fullerenes, Hydroxylated Fullerenes, and hydrated forms of Hydroxylated Fullerenes (nano), with CAS/EC No. 99685-96-8/628-630-7, 11538-22-7/-, 182024-48 42-6/-. The deadline for comments was set for 12 June 2023.
