On 28-29 February 2024, the SCCS meeting of the Working Group (WG) on cosmetic ingredients in cosmetic products was held. The points of the previous meeting were agreed upon and published. Below is a summary of the points discussed in this WG meeting.
On 5 March 2024, the SCCS published the final opinion on the hair dye Hydroxypropyl p-phenylenediamine and its dihydrochloride salt (A165) (CAS/EC No. 73793-79-0/827-723-1 and 1928659-47-5/-) in cosmetic products. The SCCS adopted this document by written procedure on 28 February 2024.
