Commission adopts Delegated Regulation on European Sustainability Reporting Standards

On 31 July 2023, the European Commission adopted a Delegated Regulation as regards the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)  for use by all companies subject to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This marks another step forward in the transition to a sustainable EU economy. Large companies and listed companies shall publish regular reports on the social and environmental risks they face, and on how their activities impact people and the environment.
