In June 2023, ECHA started the consultation on harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) of the cosmetic ingredients, Heliotropine and Talc. Ireland and the Netherlands submitted the proposals and the deadline is in August 2023. If the classification process is completed, the use of these substances in cosmetic products may be threatened.
