Cosmetic ingredients in draft CoRAP for the years 2024-2026

On 13 December 2023, ECHA published the draft list of the substances included in the Community rolling action plan (CoRAP) for the years 2024-2026. A total of 28 substances suspected of posing a risk to
human health or the environment are subject to evaluation by the Member State competent authorities under the substance evaluation process of the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (Articles 44 to 48). This substance evaluation allows the generation of information for clarification of such potential risks. Interestingly, 8 out of 28 substances included in the CoRAP process, are authorized ingredients that can be used in cosmetic products.
