On the 13th of April 2022, the United Kingdom (UK) notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of a draft amendment to the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011 and the Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009, as applicable in Great Britain (i.e., England, Wales, and Scotland). The draft amendment includes changes entailing either a reduction in the permitted level or prohibition of specific chemicals.
