The Substance chromium (III) oxide (CAS no 1308-38-9) was included in the Community rolling action plan (CoRAP) for substance evaluation to be evaluated in 2019 due to initial ground of concerns related to, sensitisation, reproductive toxicity, high(aggregated) tonnage. During the evaluation, additional concerns for genotoxicity of chromium(III) oxide nanoparticles and repeated dose toxicity were identified.
