On 11 May 2022, Cosmetics Europe, together with a large number of organizations, has signed a letter to the European Commission urging the EU to stop fragmentation in different national rules on the packaging. Divergent national packaging requirements are hampering the EU industry’s aspiration to lead the transformation towards a more sustainable economy.
