The Scientific Committee has published the preliminary opinion on Aluminium (Al) in cosmetic products after the European Commission’s request to demonstrate the safe use of Aluminium in product categories other than deodorants, antiperspirants, lipsticks, and toothpaste, considering also the aggregate exposure. The SCCS adopted this document by written procedure on 6 May 2022.
